Kevin is Chairman of the Midlands Chapter of the Virtual Reality Augmented Reality Association (VRARA) which has 3,900 members. He’s also the CEO of AtmosVR Ltd, who work with businesses and organisations in the education, construction, manufacturing, banking, retail and leisure sectors to provide AR & VR solutions. AtmosVR Ltd is a Matterport Service Partner offering 3D, 360-degree scans used for property marketing, venue mapping and construction site recording. In addition to this he’s the Co-Founder and Director of Dark Realities, which will launch in Birmingham in 2018, and will be the world’s largest, free roaming, 4D, multiplayer, VR experience.

Richard leads award winning Qa Research, a market research agency with a specialist tourism focus. Qa undertakes visitor and potential visitor insight studies for attractions, destinations and tourism bodies. Clients include the UKinbound, National Trust, VisitBritain, Science Museum and English Heritage.

Nick Larson

General Manager, Europe, Timelooper

An experienced chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Level III Candidate who has been applying his skills and expertise in the technology industry with Timelooper. The company create virtual reality app experiences for Apple and Android devices, which lets viewers experience historical moments in global history. In 2016 they won the prestigious WTM World Travel Leaders Award, which Nick Larson went onstage to collect.

Francisco Jeronimo

Senior Research Director, IDC

Francisco Jeronimo is the senior research director for European mobile devices at IDC. Based in London, he leads the research that covers mobile handset trends across Europe. He examines the trends and market dynamics for smartphones, wearables, and augmented reality and virtual reality, and provides in-depth analysis of the strategies and performance of the key industry players. IDC were recently named the #1 Digital Transformation Brand Globally by Onalytica, whilst Francisco himself was also named in the Top-100 Digital Transformation Influencers list. He also regularly appears on CNBC as an invited expert.

Komal Sable

Chief Operating Officer, Tengio

Chief Operating Officer for Tengio Ltd, which is a quality focused agency in London. Komal manages the operations, and builds relationships with existing clients and new customers. Tengio Ltd create apps and virtual reality solutions across many different sectors, including e-commerce, architecture, smart systems and Fin-Tech to name a few. They’ve recently worked with Ubuntu on a project for their Ubuntu Snappy platform running on drones.

James Ingram

Has solid and progressive experience in new business development and key account management in the travel trade. Fluent in French, Spanish and Italian, with a track record of success in revenue generation, business product development and creating long-term relationships in international B2B. He currently works for Vox, a pioneer in the application of technology in the travel trade industry worldwide. VOX S.p.A was the first company to introduce, in 2001, an innovative rental service of audio systems for guided group visits. They have over 4,000,000 uses through their network of over 50 offices. They are also the exclusive provider of tourism services for St. Peter’s Basilica at the Vatican.

Has a successful track record of driving sales and increasing brand representation at some of the top tourist attractions in the UK including Legoland, Merlin Entertainment Group, and Charles Tyrwhitt. Now the current Head of Trade Sales at The View from The Shard.

Now the Global CEO of Happy Finish, which has studios established in London’s Soho & Shoreditch, Mumbai, and Shanghai.

Dr Peter Robinson

Leeds Beckett University

Peter is a Fellow of The Tourism Management Institute and The Institute for Travel and Tourism. He is a member of The Tourism Society and is a Principal Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Before joining Leeds Beckett as Head of the Centre for Tourism and Hospitality Management, Peter worked for ten years at University of Wolverhampton, as a Senior Lecturer in Tourism and Events. Prior to entering academia, Peter worked for the National Trust, West Oxfordshire District Council and University of Derby.

Dr Chi Thanh Vi

Research Fellow in Multisensory Experiences, University of Sussex

Dr Chi Thanh Vi’s research falls into the Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) multidisciplinary domain, where there is a cross feeding between Computer Science, Neuroscience, and Psychology. Previously he was a Research Assistant at the Bristol Interaction & Graphics (BIG) Lab, University of Bristol. He has a PhD in Computer Science and an MSc in Advance Computing: Internet Technologies with Security.

Gina Gavigan

Marketing Manager, The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales (WTSWW)

Gina is an enthusiastic award winning tourism and marketing professional with twenty years experience of working within the tourism industry including public, private and voluntary sectors. She has been at WTSWW for four years and has successfully raised the profile of the Trust and its commercial assets through the development and delivery of creative marketing plans and techniques including virtual and augmented reality platforms. Her role also involves assisting in the delivery of the Trusts fundraising strategy and overseeing the operations at two of the Trusts flagship visitor centres to increase income, grow visitor numbers whilst maintaining high customer satisfactions levels. Gina is also an active member of the South West Wales Tourism Forum and Discover Ceredigion Tourism Destination Partnership.

Prof. Andi Smart

Professor of Operations & Process Management, Director of Centre for Innovation and Service Research, University of Exeter

His research interest is in the design and improvement of operational systems, particularly from an Activity System perspective. He is currently investigating Business Models in the mobile payments ecosystem, the optimisation of maintenance activities for off-shore wind farms, the improvement of patient experience in healthcare systems, and the modular design of activity systems. He engages a range of research approaches including case-based qualitative research, discrete event simulation, text analytics and modelling.
